Terms of service
Last updated: 22 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and TechMaker, which operates CVs Kit at cvskit.com (“we”, “us”). By using CVs Kit you agree to them; if you do not agree, please do not use the service. For what the Pro Pass costs and includes, see Pricing.
The service
CVs Kit is AI software that tailors your CV to a job you want. You upload or type your CV and paste the job ad; the software drafts a tailored CV and cover letter from your own material, estimates how well your CV covers the ad’s keywords, and lets you edit and export the result as PDF or Word (DOCX) in English, Arabic or both.
CVs Kit is software you drive. No human writer, recruiter or coach works on your CV, we do not list job vacancies, and we do not send applications or contact employers for you. The keyword estimate is feedback on your own document against one job ad; it does not rank or screen people.
The preview is free. The full CV, cover letters, re-tailoring and exports need a Pro Pass.
Who can use it
You must be at least 16 years old to use CVs Kit. If you are under 18, you need the permission of a parent or guardian, and a parent or guardian must make or approve any purchase.
Your account
- Your account is tied to your email address; we send sign-in codes and links there. Use an address only you can read, and keep it secure.
- Give accurate information, use the account only for yourself, and do not share it. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- A CV started without an email address is deleted after 7 days.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use CVs Kit for anything unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive — including inventing qualifications, employers or references, or making a CV in someone else’s name without their permission;
- upload material you have no right to use, or that infringes anyone’s copyright, privacy or other rights;
- upload or generate hateful, harassing, sexual or violent content, or another person’s private information;
- try to make the AI ignore its instructions or produce content these terms forbid;
- send malware or spam, probe or attack our systems, scrape the service, get around its limits or the human check, or overload it;
- resell the service, run it in bulk for other people, or use it to rank or screen job candidates.
Your content
You own what you upload and the CVs and cover letters made from it, and you may use them however you like. You confirm you have the right to use the material you upload. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide CVs Kit to you, including through the providers listed in our Privacy notice. We do not train AI models on your data.
If you believe something on CVs Kit infringes your rights, write to support@cvskit.com and we will look into it and remove it where appropriate. We may remove content or block requests that break these terms.
The CVs Kit software, templates, design and brand belong to TechMaker. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use them through the service.
AI output: check it before you send it
CVs Kit is designed to write only from the material you provide and to mark anything it cannot support for you to confirm. AI can still make mistakes. Read every CV and cover letter carefully and correct it before you send it to anyone; you are responsible for what you send to employers.
The keyword estimate is an estimate, not a prediction of how any employer or system will judge you. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers or any other outcome, and nothing in CVs Kit is legal, immigration or career advice.
The Pro Pass
- A one-time payment for 30 days of Pro access. It is not a subscription and never renews automatically; there is nothing to cancel. To keep going after it ends, you can buy another pass.
- The 30 days start when Paddle confirms your payment. A pass bought while another is still active starts when the current one ends.
- It covers every CV in your account: the complete tailored CV, a cover letter per version, 10 re-tailorings to other jobs, 100 AI section rewrites, unlimited PDF and DOCX exports and unlimited editing. The re-tailoring and rewrite numbers, and a daily cap on AI use, are fair-use limits that protect the service.
- When the pass ends, you can still export the CVs it unlocked for 30 more days. Your CVs and profile stay in your account until you delete them; the file you uploaded is deleted automatically 30 days after upload.
- The price is set in US dollars and can depend on your country; Pricing explains how. Paddle may show and charge the equivalent in your local currency. The exact amount, with any tax, is shown at checkout before you pay.
Payments and Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle handles billing, payment processing and any applicable sales tax or VAT, and appears on your bank or card statement. By completing a purchase you also agree to Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy. For help with an order, a receipt or a payment, visit paddle.net.
Refunds
You can get a full refund of a Pro Pass within 14 days of purchase, for any reason. See our Refund policy for how to ask and what happens next. Refunds also follow Paddle’s Refund Policy and your statutory rights.
Privacy
Our Privacy notice explains what we collect, why, who processes it and how long we keep it.
Ending your use
- You can stop using CVs Kit at any time and delete your account from your account page. Deleting your account does not by itself refund an active Pro Pass, and you cannot use the pass once the account is gone. You can still ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase, at support@cvskit.com or through Paddle at paddle.net, but it is simplest to ask before you delete.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used for fraud or abuse, or puts the service or other people at risk. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why.
- If we ever close CVs Kit, we will give notice by email and refund any Pro Pass that is still active.
The service as provided
We work to keep CVs Kit available and accurate, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”: we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will suit every purpose. We may change or improve features over time.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, TechMaker is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost opportunities, jobs or income, arising from your use of CVs Kit. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Pro Passes in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will tell you by email or on the site before an important change takes effect. If you keep using CVs Kit after that, the new terms apply. A change never takes away a refund you were already entitled to.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Jordan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes go to the competent courts of Amman, Jordan. This does not affect any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence, including the right to bring a claim there.
